Visual Real Book

Visual Real BookCerio, from the Talkbass forums, created a fantastic resource for bassists looking to practice jazz standards. He calls it the Visual Real Book. In his words,

Hi everyone, I’ve just created a new youtube channel with a lot of jazz standards playalongs, for those occasions when we don’t have our Aebersold records but we need access to this kind of material.

All songs have the bass paned to the left and the piano to the right, so if you want to completely mute the bass to play along with the drums and the piano, you just need to mute the left channel.
