Musical Modes: Part 2, Rhythmic Modes.

This is the 2nd part of Melanie Spiller‘s articles on the history of musical modes. These six modes (Trochaic, Iambic, Dactylic, Anapestic, Spondaic, & Tribrachic) are definately not the ones I was expecting. (I’ve actually been exploring the Mixolydian and Locrian modes, but that’s something for later.)

Also, I ran through all of the posts on the blog and added the [more] tag to the lengthier ones. This way, they won’t clutter the browser windows and force readers to scroll for 10 minutes before getting to the bottom of a page.
